Na internete nás denne atakuje fashion booom. Kde kdo vyrába tričká, šperky… a snaží sa preraziť svojou kvapkou v oceáne fashion. Začínam byť voči tomu imúnny avšak ilustrácie od Marka Hall Patch ma milo prekvapili. Áno takéto fashion chcem mať doma veľa, veľa!:)
We are attacked by fashion booom daily on the internet. Whoever makes T-shirts, jewellery, etc., wants to be successful with his drop in the ocean of fashion. I began to be immune of that but work of Makr Hall Patch is surprising me. Yes, this kind of fashion I would love to have at home.. heaps of it!:)

Dnes som na facebooku zaregistroval vyhlásenie Mariana Kotlebu, ktoré sa šírilo v statusoch užívateľov tejto sociálnej siete. Nedokážem neodsúdiť extrémizmus, ktorý šíri a ešte viac som sklamaný z podpory týchto myšlienok. Keď už “roduverný slovák” závidí cigáňovi jeho sociálne dávky, je to zlé, veľmi zlé! Premýšlal som ako vyjadriť odpor voči tejto slovnej agresii a prvé čo som asocioval bol fotografický dokument cigáni od Tibora Huszára. Krásny dokument o tejto kontroverznej menšine, ktorá ide proti prúdu, lebo inak sa už asi ani nedá.

Grafický dizajnér Ondrej Gavalda zrealizoval svoj víťazný návrh pre o.z. Štokovec v Banskej Štiavnici na externú výmaľbu malého vlaku, ktorý premáva na trati Hronská Dúbrava - Banská Štiavnica. Raster, ktorý Ondrej navrhol odkazuje na banský svet, kryštálovú štruktúru. Viac o projekte tu.
Graphic designer Ondrej Gavalda realized his winning design for o.z Štokovec from Banská Štiavnica. He repaint train which runs between stations Hronská Dúbrava - Banska Stiavnica. Ondrej designed Raster which refers to the mining world and crystal structure. More about the project here.

V Londýnskej Sumarria Lunn Gallery vytvorila Monika Gryzmala tieto dramatické inštalácie len pomocou čiernej lepiacej pásky! Inštalácia mení spôsob interakcie návštevníka s priestorom galérie. Monika už vystavovala v MoMA New York, Tokio Art Museum či Drawing Room v Londýne. Viac tu.
Artist Monika Grzymala has created this dramatic installation, made entirely with black tape, within the Sumarria Lunn gallery in London.
The show sees Grzymala take over the entire gallery with the installation, changing the way visitors interact with the space. It is the latest in a series of site-specific tape installations by the artist, who has previously exhibited at galleries including MoMA New York, the Tokyo Art Museum and the Drawing Room in London. Verím, že tvorivé riešenia vznikajú odstraňovním hraníc medzi sub kultúrou a pop kultúrou. Kultúrny transfer je v reklame často využívaný nástroj a keďže som vyrastal na daft punk a elektronike tento spot ma potešil.
I believe that creative solutions emerges by eliminating boundaries between sub-culture and pop-culture. Cultural transfer is often used tool in advertising. I used to listen to daft punk and electronic music. That´s why this spot makes me happy.
